Halloween Party

Last night we went to my Mom's church Halloween Party. Sydney didn't want to wear her costume, but she wore her pretty Halloween bow (even though she tried to ditch it a thousand times or so..) I think that Sandi had the best costume :)

Grandma was a farmer..... Ava said that Grandpa could be her horse if Grandma was the farmer.

Me & Sweets... she looks just like me right? Identical other than the Doritos Cheese ring around her mouth.

Finally the little ones got to have a good time & play on the floor. Don't you love their costumes? Yes she was a lady bug and Nolly was Scooby Doo....I have learned that 1 year olds are not into dressing up quite yet!

They had a lot more fun at Grandma's house when they got to empty the "lid drawer". Grandma says that this was a favorite past time of mine when I was her age.

Thanks Grandma!!

The Big One!

She's So Big!!!

Sydney had her first birthday on October 24th. She is so big. Here are a few pics from her birthday party...

She smashed the cake pretty well. I don't think that she like having the frosting on her little fingers though. I wiped her up as well as I could, I thought she would be good to go until I took her out of her highchair and there was chocolate cake covering both of her legs. It was awesome. I raced her to the bathroom and we had a quick bath & wardrobe change... then she was ready to rock!

Sydney loves to play with her cousins! They were all there in full effect: Kadisen, Keaten, Ava, Nolan & Kynley! Ava was being very helpful and opening up gifts for Sydney.
I think that Sydney was pretty entertained with the wrapping paper & tissue paper. Her Handy Manny tool set was a big hit with all of the kids!!! The tool box sings and the tools bounce up and down. Also as you can see the tools come out of the box too!
The party went great, everyone was so generous. We have the best family and friends that anyone could ask for. We are so lucky!

Sydney Jolee Lambert
October 24, 2007
7lbs. 5oz
21" long

It has been 364 days since I had Sydney. She is the best thing we have ever done. So here are some pics to remind all of us what happened 364 days ago.... Yes, that is me and my chins.
Jeremy was so awesome during the preganancy. He is such a phenomenal daddy. He is amazing to see with Sydney. He is a great Daddy!
It has been so cool to watch her become this little person.... to ask her what a cow says...and her push out her little lips and "mooo"....when she kisses tigger...when she loves on Peanut, Rocky & Doozer ...her smile in the mornings....and her big (wet) kisses.
She is awesome. We absolutly adore her.

She found the drawers and she loves them. I tried at first to put all of the towels back, but she is having a great time. Oh well things can be neat & tidy another day! Sydney is so funny....I just laugh at her. I can't help it she is hilarious.

Hello world

Okay so I have ALWAYS said that I am way too busy to do face book, my space, blog, etc., but I am going to give it a shot! I am a firm believer that whatever you think you are you become. So if I say that I have time...I will. If I say that I love to work out ...I do. If I say that I am a bizillionaire...well...I am still working on that one.

Since we had out sweet little girl (almost a year ago) I think that it is important to create a history of our story. She is amazing! Jeremy and I agree that she is the best thing that either one of us has ever been a part of. If you ask her what a cow says she pushes out her little lips and will moo...it is adorable!

So I have decided that I want her to know how we felt, what we thought, and how we made it through things. The last year has been a whirlwind experience! I have loved every moment of the beautiful insanity. I wish that I would have been sane enough to keep track of ever single little thing. I think at that time had my focus been on charting, graphing, and scrapping everything that I would has missed so much. I also know that because we have been so wrapped up in our own world that we have lost touch with some of our friends and family. I want everyone to be able to check in and see how things are. This doesn't replace time together, calls or email, but is a great way to "check in".

Until next time....
